Nurture That Dream

$300.00

Framed original Acrylic Painting on stretched canvas in an oak float frame by @houseofprint.

(w) 51 cm x (h) 25.5 cm x (d) 4 cm (Canvas Size)

(w) 54 cm x (h) 28.5 cm x (d) 5.5 cm (Framed Size)

This piece features orange and red dahlias.

Red dahlias symbolise perseverance and the ability to overcome.

Dahlia’s are stunning flowers which can bring much joy with their gorgeous colours and interesting petals.

Whilst they can produce an abundance of show stopping blooms they need the right conditions to thrive. They prefer moist, well drained soil area where they can get plenty of sun but protection from strong winds. Too much water and their tubers can rot. They like to be fertilised, but too much nitrogen and it may compromise on the flower quantity. To encourage lateral growth and more flowers, the tips can be pinched. Regular cutting flowers can help promote further flowering. These flowers thrive with the right conditions and nurturing.

What helps you to thrive?

This piece was named “Nurture that dream” as bringing most dreams to fruitition requires a degree of stickability and also adequate tenderness to care and protect the dream until it develops.
